Resources

For most business owners, writing their own content feels daunting and challenging.

It doesn’t have to be. It’s all about finding the right tools and techniques to develop your brand voice, and then creating useful content to share with your audience on a consistent basis.

I love working with business owners like you to create magnetic copy and content marketing plans that match your ambitions. (Learn how to get me on your team here.)

However, if you’re just starting out, or want to get a better sense of my approach before hiring me, here are some resources for you to enjoy.

Discovery Workbook

“Challenging” /// “Inspiring” /// “Vital to growing my business”

The Discovery Workbook contains 40 questions designed to evaluate your brand and your business. (Also, it’s a pre-req for my copywriting clients.)

Go ahead and download the PDF workbook for your own reflection process. You can save your responses in your form, and return to it whenever you’re re-branding (or writing your own content).

Note: You’ll need Adobe Reader to fill out and save your responses. (Download a free version here.)

Editorial Calendar Template

This is a tool to help you organize your content marketing efforts.

It’s an Excel spreadsheet with tabs for the current month’s content, content by type, future content, and published content. The tool is especially helpful for allowing teams to successfully plan, write, and publish content consistently. Customize it as needed!

Go ahead and download the free editorial calendar template now.

(Here’s a link to the Google Docs version. I recommended making a copy to save it in your Google Drive and customize your version.)
